Dr Vaibhav Bagaria is currently working as a senior consultant joint replacement and sports injury surgeon at the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai, India. He did his post graduation (MS) in Orthopaedics from the prestigious KEM Hospital, Mumbai after completing his MBBS from Govt. Medical College (GMC), Nagpur during which he received three gold medals. He then worked at Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, USA for a year during which he also received two international awards and diploma from SICOT, Belgium. He then undertook fellowship in advanced joint replacement and adult reconstruction in Germany and later at Perth, Adelaide & Melbourne in Australia. He was chosen to solely represent the medical community in the Beijing Olympic torch relay held in India in 2008. Dr Bagaria having worked with all latest technologies at different centers of excellence in the world in last 12 years of his orthopedic career is a perfect mix of youth and experience. He is proficient in performing most orthopedic surgery with a special interest in Hip and Knee replacement procedures. He has special training in Hip and knee revision procedures, Hip resurfacing and Unicondylar knee replacements. He is well versed with latest technology in the field especially Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), Computer Navigated Surgery (CAS) and patient specific instrumentation. He started the work integrating rapid prototyping and orthopaedic surgery in the year 2006 and has developed some unique protocols and algorithms helping seamless integration. Research work of Dr. A.M.Kuthe is focused in the area Rapid Prototyping (RP). Using CAD as base and specialised techniques of RP, the Dr. A.M.Kuthe dedicated his efforts in harnessing this technology for practical use. The capabilities of RP equipment were extensively exploited to make custom build human body parts that were implanted in human bodies by surgeons in several complicated medical cases including some cases of cancer. The technology was also effectively used in engineering industry to develop zero defect pattern making and casting. Dr. A.M.Kuthe has earned patent for the niche work undertaken by him. His contribution to international and national journals, presentation of papers at international conferences and authoring of a book demonstrate his deep study as well as authority on the subject. Creation of a well-equipped CAD-CAM centre at VNIT speaks volumes of his passion for raising the bar of academic standards. Dr Suresh Ludhwani graduated in dentistry followed by post-graduation in oral medicine and maxillofacial radiology from Ahmedabad Dental College and Hospital. He did his post graduate diploma in ORAL IMPLANTOLOGY from D.Y.Patil, Pune. He is trained in 3D PRINTING AND COMPUTER GUIDED SURGERY in Germany.He is an Assistant Professor in department of oral medicine and radiology at college of dental science and research, bopal. He successfully runs the chain of diagnostic centers called OROSCAN and hasventured into a 3d printing lab - IDDS , the first of its kind. He is an also member of Asia-pacific association of oral medicine and radiology. He is the principal author & co-author of numerous peer-reviewed papers on CBCT and has authored the book titled “CBCT- AN IMAGING ATLAS”. He was awarded “EXCELLENCE IN DENTISTRY” AWARD in DENASIA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE.
